CMI2025 will be held May 13-17, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.

Registration Fee (Fee)

* Payment will be made in Japanese yen.
* Young CMI registration is for attendees who are 40 years old or younger as of the date of May 13, 2025. (attendees born after May 14, 1984).
* Lunch for May 14th, 15th and 17th is included in all registration types. Lunch for May 16th will be provided only to those who register "with excursion" during the Tokyo Bay cruise.
* All participants are welcome to join the cocktail party at XEX Atago Green Hills on May 16th. Please kindly note that the transportation to the dinner venue is not included. People who do not participate in the excursion, please make your own way to the cocktail party venue. Those participating in the excursion will be transported to the dinner venue by bus. You can check out more details in the "Social Event" page.
* Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Please make a hotel reservation at your earliest convenience. The official accommodation is Hotel New Otani Tokyo, and the reservation is available on the "Accommodation" page.

Accompanying Persons Program

* Please kindly note that those who participate the half-day tour or/ and one-day tour are required to register.
* Half-day Tour includes Japanese cultural Experiences, tea ceremony and Japanese calligraphy, and it is the unique and valuable tour only for the accompanying person.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Comité Maritime International (CMI) reserves the right to cancel or postpone CMI 2025 or to change the schedule, venue, or style of the conference without prior notice, due to any event of force majeure.
  2. Any expenses paid by a registered participant shall not be compensated by CMI nor the Japanese Maritime Law Association (JMLA).
  3. In such a contingency stated above in 1:
    (a) If it happens during the conference period, neither CMI nor JMLA shall refund any registration fees.
    (b) If CMI decides to cancel the conference before January 29th, 2025  17:00 (JST), the registration fee, excluding costs for related actual expenses, shall be refunded by CMI.
  4. No damages or compensation, except the refunding of registration fees as stated above in 3., shall be recovered from CMI nor JMLA.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation requested to the registration desk by January 29th, 2025 17:00 (JST): 100% refund
  2. Cancellation requested to the registration desk after January 29th, 2025 17:01 (JST): NO refund
    *Please note that the transaction fee will be deducted from the refund.
    *No refund will be made if any visa support document has been issued regardless of the cancel request timing.
